Meet Captain ScottyBoy

Captain Eddrico Colebrook, known across the island as Captain ScottyBoy, was born and raised on North Andros. He has spent 15 years fishing and exploring these waters.

Andros is the largest island in The Bahamas and one of the world’s best bonefish destinations. Most of it is still wild. ScottyBoy knows where the fish feed on every tide, which creeks hold tarpon, and which blue holes and beaches are worth the trip.

Every trip is private and built around you, whether you’re an experienced angler chasing a permit or a family wanting a day on the water.

OUR CATCH & RELEASE PRACTICE

Better stewardship.

The flats of North Andros are our home and our future. All bonefish, tarpon and permit are released, and every fish is handled with care.
  • Barbless hooks for quick, clean releases
  • Wet hands only. We never squeeze the fish or touch the gills.
  • Fish stay in the water as much as possible. Photos are quick and held low over the water.
  • Every fish is revived, facing into the current, until it swims off strongly.
  • If sharks are near, we move, so a released fish isn’t eaten.
  • Large tarpon are never lifted out of the water.
Reef fish can be kept for dinner within legal limits. We’ll cook your catch on a beach day or camping trip.

Official fishing information

Bahamas flats fishing licenses are required for ages 12+. We can arrange yours, or buy it on the Go Outdoors BS app.

No boat permit needed on our Bahamian vessel. Guided by licensed Bahamian guide Captain ScottyBoy (License: [TBC])

Hook & line only. Sharks and turtles are strictly protected. Seasonal reef rules apply; no commercial flats fishing.

Bonefish are here year-round. Ask us for the best months for tarpon and permit.
Yes, for flats fishing. Every angler aged 12 or older needs a Bahamas flats fishing license, and we can arrange it for you before you arrive.
Yes. Bonefish, tarpon and permit are always released. Reef fish can be kept within Bahamian regulations.
